This place is made popular by the social butterflies a few years ago. It is a unique place dedicated to the works of Mario Miranda. The museum is very different from a conventional one. Some people might find it disappointing as well because it has less characteristics of traditional museum and looks more like a fancy art store or boutique. However, I really enjoyed this place. It had a different vibe, the architecture of this house/museum itself is very unique and abstract. It showcases images and artifacts used in architecture and houses of different styles in Goa and beyond.
The entry fee is 150, of which you can redeem 50 to eat something in the cafe or at the art gallery (Mario Gallery). The souvenir shop known as Mario art gallery has some amazing things for people to bring back for their loved ones at home.
Overall, the place is a 15-20 minutes exploring, not much to be honest. But a cup of hot or cold tea and few insta worthy pictures is a guarantee. The surroundings are very green and the place itself looks like a picture straight from some silly symphony episodes. I would call it one of the insta worthy places of GOA.

The beauty of museum is in its own building. It is very beautiful and triangular structure.
Roads nearby gives cherry on top.
You have to experience it by yourself.
Neighbour to this is mario Miranda shop, do visit that as well.
Totally offbeat location within Goa. Not just typical beach place.
Do visit here.

"It is an architecture marvel. And the surrounding structures add to the charm of this place. It can probably be called a mini architectural marvel village. If you are visiting this place, please keep it clean in order to maintain its charm. And do not litter the area. "

"The Houses of Goa Museum is a great experience. "
Things you should go for:
1. Taking a close look at the history of Goan Architecture through this museum.
2. Watching an architecture build on three stones (Grinding Stones) which are the pillars of the building.
3.Understanding how Goan houses were built the way they are.
Peculiar things to mention:
Jovito is the host/manager of the place and they are a sweetheart. They helped me to understand the importance of the place and why this museum exist at the first place.
The museum is made by Gerand Da Gunha and shows history of Goan Architecture and how it comes to the way it is.
Go and check the place yourself and later go for Mario's Gallery which is just cross the road. Mario's Gallery is a great place to see illustrations and buy merchandise.
Go look at the pictures now.
